the journey begins

I leave for Israel in just 3 days...lots to think about before then. So to keep all of my loved ones back home informed on my life I have decided to start a blog in order to share thoughts, lessons learned and pictures. I can't promise to be the best writer or very consistent, but I am going to try my hardest! Creating this blog wasn't as easy as I thought it would be, a lot of thought went into naming my blog. At first I thought about just putting my name for the blog, but I wanted it to be more than that, because ultimately it is not just about me, my life or even the adventures I take, but it is about God and how I glorify Him through my life and all that it entails. I chose the name Walking.Sola.Gratia, it is only by His grace that I exist, that I know Him as my Savior and Father, and that I have been extremely blessed! I am able to take this trip because He has provided the means for it. I want this to be more than just an informative newsletter, I want to use it for God's purposes and I pray that through this blog and more importantly, my life, that God will be glorified! I am extremely excited for this trip and all of the adventure it holds. To be able to walk where my Savior walked and see the Bible come to life will be an incredible experience and I hope that I am able to share it with all of my readers. I am thankful for the opportunity and the ability to share it with all of you, I look forward to your thoughts on my posts as well!!
